Faith Church Door Alert — Privacy Policy & Terms

CALL TO ACTION - DOOR SIGNAGE This is the exact wording posted on the physical sign at the Faith Church entrance used during student ministry events, documenting how end users opt in to the Door Alert Text Line: "DOOR ALERT — Locked out? Text this number: (586) 488-0224. A church leader will come let you in. Msg & data rates may apply." Texting this number is the end user's affirmative consent to receive one automatic reply from the Door Alert line. No other messages are sent as a result. PRIVACY POLICY (Last updated September 8, 2026) This policy covers the Door Alert Text Line only - the SMS number posted at Faith Church entrances during student ministry and other church events. It does not cover any other communications from Faith Church. What we collect: The mobile phone number you text the Door Alert line from, and the content of the message you send (for example, "I'm here for youth group, can someone let me in?"). We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't collect any other personal information through this number. How we use it: To relay your message and phone number to the small team of on-duty volunteer leaders working that event, so one of them can come to the door, and to send you a single automatic reply confirming a leader has been notified. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number and message are used only to operate the Door Alert line for the event you texted during. This applies to all text messaging originator opt-in data and consent - it is never sold, rented, or shared outside the ministry leaders responding to your text. How long we keep it: Messages are kept only as long as needed to run the event and are not added to any contact list, newsletter, or recurring text program. Texting the Door Alert line once does not sign you up for anything ongoing. Questions: Contact us at hello@faithrh.com or (248) 651-3535 with any questions about this policy.
